Who we are?
Youth and Cultural Development Foundation (YCDF) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded by youth development passionate leaders and social entrepreneurs. The organization is registered as an Ethiopian Residence Charities – Registration No. 3173 by the Ethiopian Charities and Societies Agency in 2013, with its headquarter in Addis Ababa the Capital City; branches in Wolliso - S/W/Shewa Zone, Oromiya Regional State and in Wolikite - Gurage Zone, Southern Nations and Nationalities and Peoples (SNNP) Region of Ethiopia.

Even though YCDF is a new organization it has gained considerable experience and goodwill from young people and youth serving groups it has interacted with.

Before inauguration of any interventions YCDF will recognize and consult all key actors in areas related to youth initiative arrangements through consultations, workshops, and meetings at different levels culminating in a study report for basic youth development competencies that it requires, or will require, in the foreseeable future.

Many developmental partners including government departments, schools and the media are supporting its work besides assisting its beneficiaries realize tangible results especially in areas of capacity building and community engagement.

YCDF, as an organization, is growing in strength and capacity to better meet future challenges. It is building more effective partnerships and networks for integrated actions and sustainable outcomes.
